Sundeep Pattem
Sundeep is currently working on building products, focused on co-creating an environment for informed risk taking and rapid skill building based on real world engagements, multidimensional exploration, trial and error experimentation.
He was previously Chief Data Scientist and Executive Fellow at the California Department of Justice, where he advised the policy leadership and led strategic data and technology initiatives for criminal justice reform.
His experience in applied data science includes leading teams, helping build products, and publishing independent research in the areas of healthcare, education, and energy sustainability. He has taught civic technology and public policy at UC Berkeley, and developed data science curriculum for Springboard. His interests include bitcoin, deep learning, economics, finance, public policy.
Kapil Wankhede
Kapil is a co-founder and leads operations at Sanghamitra, focused on streamlining production, logistics and people management.
He was previously a financial data analyst with a strong background in quantitative modeling, data analysis and predictive modeling especially for assessing market and credit risk.
He is a social entrepreneur skilled in strategic planning, public relations and organization management. He also co-founded Nalanda Academy that provides education and opportunities for underprivileged students in India. He is a leader committed to fostering a culture of collaboration, mentorship and shared success.
He has a Master’s in Finance from the Illinois Tech Stuart School of Business. He was awarded the Government of India graduate scholarship.

Nikhil Bhagat
Dedicated social entrepreneur and business leader with a strong track record in research, operations and marketing. Strong technical skills in programming and data science. Proven success in community engagement, teaching, and academic initiatives. Deep interest in leveraging AI/ML technology and evidence-based public policy for creating equal opportunities and enabling fair resource allocation.
Komal Mangar
Komal K. Mangar works on design and marketing for Sanghamitra clothing and accessories. She is passionate about empowering young girls and is working on developing her own business ideas and technology skills. She has a M.A in Women’s studies.
Siddhant Shende
Siddhant R. Shende works on Sanghamitra logistics. He is working on developing his communication skills and gaining experience with the end to end business process. He has a B.A degree in History and Sociology.
Dikshapali Naranje
Dikshapali Naranje leads design and making for Sanghamitra’s clothing and accessories line of business. She is working toward being a business owner and on gaining technology and communication skills. She has a Diploma in Fashion Design.
Vaibhav Selkar
Vaibhav works on engineering and product development at Sanghamitra. He is currently leading a water filter project to provide affordable and economical water filters to the local communities. He is an aspiring Data Scientist and is currently learning marketing, programming and team building skills at Sanghamitra. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology.
Prashik Dhanvij
Prashik works on product development at Sanghamitra. He is interested in research about the relationship between AI and human behavior. He is passionate about health and wants to build a hospital that meets the community needs. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
Prayag Dhanvij
Prayag is the go-to person for mechanical, electrical and design solutions at Sanghamitra and is currently working on a refrigeration project. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. He aspires to go to MIT for research in Mechatronics.
Mayur Shevale
Mayur works on computer science projects and 3-D designing at Sanghamitra. He is a machine learning and AI enthusiast. He is currently working on developing his computer skills and contributing to Sanghamitra’s success.
Apeksha Garse
Apeksha works on product testing and development at Sanghamitra. She is part of the water filter product development team. As an animal/environment love, she wants to make an impact through her work at Sanghamitra. She has a Bachelor’s in Science (chemistry, botany and zoology).
Suyog Muralkar
Suyog works on product testing and development at Sanghamitra. He is interested in the venture capital sector and wants to make an impact by empowering the startup ecosystem chain in India. He is currently pursuing his Master’s in Finance from the Illinois Tech Stuart School of Business. He is a recipient of the Government of India graduate scholarship.
